Adire, a former sex worker seeking refuge, relocates to a quaint town where she initiates a lingerie crafting venture utilizing her distinctive adire fabric. This enterprise inadvertently becomes a source of empowerment for the traditionally reserved women. However, it sparks resentment from Folasade, the self-appointed leader and deaconess, who is also the preacher’s wife at the local church. Amidst unexpected bonds and unconventional affection, Adire’s newfound haven faces disruption when Captain, her former pimp from whom she pilfered funds for her fresh start, reemerges in her life.
